Acacia Honey Activities

 Acacia trees were planted around Kosaka to help combat the pollution cause by what was then Japan’s most productive mine.As a result, Kosaka is now ome to Japan’s largest acacia forest consisting of around 3 million trees.The town has since been known for the pure, high-grade honey made from the acacia blossoms.
  In addition to free honey taste testings available year round, beeswax candle making activies are offered in June.
